After almost two years of not traveling abroad, we took the plunge and joined friends on a trip to Playa Del Carmen in December of 2021. After a non-eventful flight into Cancun, we arrived at our all-inclusive resort, The Fives Beach Hotel and Residences.

We had nine wonderful days of relaxing, walking along the beach, eating fancy foods, and spending time with friends. Here are a few photos from our trip.

Overall, this was a nice transition between staying home for months on end and stepping out to see what traveling would be like in this COVID world. I see more traveling in our future!!
