Today we appreciated a day of rest. We boarded the train and headed to Levanto: from the east coast of Italy to the west.
We left at 11:32, had a transfer in Milan, and arrived in Levanto at 4:58. One of the trains was a high speed train which at times went almost 300 km per hour.🙂. The scenery sped by and included views of farmland, mountains, tunnels, villages, and finally the ocean.
We are beside the Ligurian sea, and after we got settled into the Margherita Bed and Breakfast in Levanto, we hurried down to the beach to watch the sunset.
We feasted on seafood tonight!
