Day 28 February 13, 2014

It has been a long day.

I find the concept of air travel quite fascinating. A person enters a long box, eats some food, watches a few movies, sleeps, or reads, and after several hours the person steps out of the box into a different place and culture. We boarded our flight to Vancouver around 1:00 pm Thursday which was 7 pm Wednesday night in Alberta. The flight was about 14 hours long and had some bumpy patches, but went well overall.

I noticed almost immediately the return of static electricity, dry air, and dry skin!

Flight #19 from Vancouver to Calgary had a rough landing as we bounced almost 30 feet in the air after the first touch down, but flight #20 to Medicine Hat was smoother sailing.

Looking back over the past 4 weeks, we are grateful to God for safety in traveling 42,577 km by plane on twenty flights, over 2056 km by car, 575 km by bus, 10 km by boat, and numerous km on foot. We have had an incredible trip and we thank you for following our adventures!

Until next time,

Gary and Pearl
