Australia Zoo

Day 9 January 25

This morning we were up at 6. Poor Laura, we keep getting her up so early!! We took a tour bus to the Australia Zoo which was made famous by Steve Irwin, the Crocodile Hunter. We left at 7:30 and were back by 6. We had about 6 hours at this beautiful zoo. It was very hot and humid, and we were sweating most of the day. While we were spending time with the kangaroos (wallabies), an adorable Australian girl came up to the kangaroo and proudly exclaimed, “IT’S A WANNABE!” I couldn’t help but smile. She must have been around 3 years old.
